I have been a Red Carpet Photographer for about 17 years now. I shot my first red carpet after a friend told me that the People's Choice was being filmed down the street at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. I dressed up in my best outfit and snuck onto the red carpet and hid myself amongst the other photographers. I was instantly in love with capturing celebrities on the red carpet. After the event I had 6 rolls of 35MM film that I instantly took down to the local store to get processed. The next day I had my film in hand, but didn't know what to do with any of the images. I started looking up agencies and asking them if they wanted to see the images. I had one agency that took a look and decided to take me under their wing. They taught me how to get the correct shots that would sell to magazines.
17 years later, I have covered thousands of events including the Oscars, Emmy's, movie premieres, book signings and concerts. Now, I am looking forward to a new chapter in my photography career.
